“Be fearless in the pursuit of what sets your soul on fire” – Jennifer Lee
I have always had a passion of helping and empowering others. Growing up on a farm provided a unique characteristic of overcoming and hard work. Throughout high school I immersed myself in areas of diversity, FFA and public speaking. Provoking insight on individuality and pushing past the status quo. Further into adulthood I continued my passion for helping others graduating with a degree in Occupational Therapy Rehabilitation. I have since then progressed my 10 year passion in healthcare to a rehab director position with the geriatric population. Continuing my passion for helping others I went on to receive my Master Reiki certification. I believe healing comes through all levels. Throughout college I continued writing and public speaking passions. I focused on creative writing and ethics thesis discussing upcoming laws and changes that would in the future grossly affect our community. I am an avid nature and animal lover. I spend my free time tending to our little garden in the country, hiking, conservation, writing, artistic passions and mindful meditation. This year in March my husband and I welcomed our son into the world. I’m beyond grateful to add being mother to a list of one of my beloved passions. I believe that all individuals have the power to succeed in what “sets their soul on fire.” I hope to continue to share my story as well as others to help empower and provoke positive change in our community.
